SHORT STORY
INTRODUCTION
Once I have decided to become an English writing author I have to start from the short stories although they should be really good for American, British and other English speaking people, not to mention my students whom I teach English and German.
CHAPTER ONE. WAS THE DEAL WORTH IT?
A famous American actor George Clooney was drinking a delicious coffee in one of the luxurious coffee shops of Manhattan. Before leaving, a young gorgeous waitress handed him a sumptuous paper carrier with a prestigious coffee inside he had just purchased.
As soon as the man took a step outside the front door, a tremendous old piano had fallen upon his head.
In a while, he was in Heaven climbing up the broad high stairway. On the top of it, a man in white was already waiting for him.
– Hello, George! – said the old man respectfully, warmly shaking him by the hand.
– Where am I? – asked the stunned actor looking around.
-Make an educational guess, George! – answered the man with a friendly smile.
– It’s not my time! – replied Clooney in frustration.
– I think we could make an arrangement. – offered the old man meaningfully.
Next, the adorable actor returned back into the coffee-shop with empty hands.
Behind his back, the ill-starred piano eventually fell onto the street right in front of the doorway broken in pieces.
-Not this time, George! Not this time! – murmured the old man in white looking from above.
– But take care of yourself! – added he thoughtfully.
– Mm, the coffee is really awesome!
The deal was worth it, I presume! – said the man delightedly and went back to his business.
